McMorris Photo News Grand Opening Shushan Post Office February 27, 2019 |

Shushan Post Office Grand Opening On Wednesday February 27th the Shushan Post Office celebrated its Grand Opening. Tony Hall, Post Office Operations Manager, and Jessica Barrett, Salem-Shushan-Cossayuna Postmaster spoke at the ceremony to a packed house. A ribbon was cut by Jessica Barrett and past Salem Post Master Linda Freightenburgh signaling the opening of the Post Office. The ribbon was held by Leonard Taft and Kevin Baylor. A luncheon reception was held immediately following the ceremony complete with a cake. The Shushan Post Office is located next to the Shushan Fire Department and will be staffed at the counter by Postal Clerk- Ken Stevens. Also in attendance were Salem Town Supervisor Sue Clary, Town Councilmen Butch Gilchrist and Bruce Ferguson along with Rose Wells, Post Office Retail Manager and Erin Grogan, Cambridge Post Master.
