On Saturday May 5th, 2012 the 6th Annual Sarah's Walk was held in Salem.  The Annual Walk is held in memory of Sarah Ayers to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. 

      In the weeks leading up to the Walk, Salem School Students competed in "Jar Wars".  Change was collected for Sarah's Walk by classes competing with one another for a free breakfast provided by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  The classes raised approximately $500 toward the cause. The winning classes were Lori Stokem's 2nd grade class and Sandy Adams class.

     Over the past six years, Sarah's Walk has raised over $30,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

     A yearly $250-300 scholarship is also given out in Sarah's name year.
