On Friday June 6, 2025 Mary Skelly and Cindy Rogers' 4th grade classes from Salem Central School enjoyed a living history day at the Revolutionary War cemetery. Local re-enactors from the 2nd Continental Artillery and Justin Crowfax Haner lead the students with hands on demonstrations including musket drills, 18th century artillery, and native dance. The students then toured the Revolutionary War cemetery locating the final resting places of many of the founding members of the town.
